You need to complete your P60s for the tax year and give them to your employees by 31 May 2020. Remember if you have rolled back your March salaries to make furlough claims for any of your employees you may need to resend them. Previously they will have included 100% of salary and now it may only be 80%.
Reporting Expenses And Benefits In Kind For The Tax Year Ending 5 April 2020
The deadline for reporting any Expenses and Benefits in Kind is 6 July 2020.
You’ll need to complete form:
- P11D(b), if you have a Class 1A National Insurance contribution liability, because you payroll your expenses and benefits
- P11D to declare any non payrolled expenses or benefits.
Remote Working – Insurance
Check that any company or personally owned equipment is properly covered for use by staff whilst working from home. Some insurers cover personal items of equipment used, to a limited extent, for business. One-off gadget insurance is a low-cost option worth considering.
